Buttons are listed as an option on the pastern, yet there are only instructions for snaps, hook and eye and tie tops, so i had to improvise how to add button holes, which i wouldn't expect from a published pattern. Overall the experience was okay, i managed to make the garment, but even as an advanced crocheter I found several of the stages of the process frustratingly vague.
