For the shell, I think it would help beginners to. know what type of stitch goes into the magic circle. I figured it was single crochet in the end. Also maybe knowing exactly how many times you have to decrease/increase to get to the number of stitches. This pattern is adorable but there were a few things. Hope this helped!
