I made mine 100% no sew, when you start round 11 do back loops only and make sure to mark the front loops with another stitch marker, and just continue the pattern as normal. When it comes time to make the hood go into the front loops of round 11 and attach your yarn and I single crocheted around (20) and slip stitch to connect and to close the hole and continued as followed on the pattern just at the end of each round slip stitch to close the hole. I highly recommend this pattern! I used 5.5 mm hook and 12 mm eyes :)
