Eye complete! Time to put it all together!

I am getting confused on the chain 3 and then single crochet on each round.. I followed pattern to the letter so we will see how this goes. It doesn‘t look like it is big enough to cover the opening for the body somay need to remake.

Final round on body. A little confusing to me about the extra single crochet to finish round. A count on how many there should be would help.

Body done except for the round for legs. So far so good. I don‘t know the show so not sure if shape is correct but will adjust when I stuff.
