For the May challenge I was inspired by Jade‘s look in the ( Bratz Girls Nite Out ) collection and my daughter already had Jade and I loved her aqua nite out dress and so I decided to crochet for her a Big Gala Dress in a sparkle Teal yarn by Mainstay with a hook size 2.75mm and made lots of puff stitches, which made up a nice full skirt which was then gather up into the top and continued the puff stitches into a Lapel that wrapped around the top and over her arms. Video tutorial used for this dress is called ” Dress Doll, Barbie Doll Dress Making ” I did change the size of the dress and so I used this tutorial to follow the puff pattern stitch. I also had to make Jade an awesome and bold purse to go with her Gala Dress and I decided to make her a round Rose bag with a short bag handle and then embellished with some aqua beads. I used the same Teal Sparkle yarn and a hook size 2.00mm... I used a video tutorial called, ( How to crochet a mini rose in minutes ) and I only did the first 2 steps, because I needed my rose to be very small for the bag. And finally I had to make Jade‘s pet Mica, all grown up, just like Jade. I made kitty Mica with Black Sparkle yarn by Mainstay and a hook size 2.25mm I used video tutorial called, ( crochet keychain: how to crochet cat, cute and simple cat Amigurumi: and I embellished with some Aqua beads as well.
