I FINISHED THE BEE!! I'm going to try again, so that I can perfect the body.
I tried to do "invisible stitching", but it was giving me a hard time. I did, however, successfully figure out a way to give my alternating colors "clean lines" (instead of the regular crocheted look). My partner likes the look of the crochet over the clean lines, however, so I'm going to keep figuring out how to do the invisible stitch!
I had a better time understanding the stitches when I tried again, today!! The tension in the beginning is a little wonky, however, I believe that's because I have the wrong hook size (I need to get a bigger size). Once I finish this bee, I'm going to try again!
Bernat Blanket Yarn is, surprisingly, more difficult to read then I anticipated. It's hard to count the stitches. I'm going to see if I can find a better way to count the yarn.
This is my very first project that isn't the Woobles. I'm creating this for my partner, Ripley!
