It‘s cute but just adding additional squares to it for the larger size doesn‘t really make it functional. If I‘m standing still it‘s fine but if I move I risk exposing myself because the space between the neck and the sides is too wide. With some tape to hold things in place, this could work for the L/XL size but it would be impossible for me to wear this out as is. The lining helps but it‘s not enough.

I‘m opting to attempt to line mine with a polyester cotton blend because it‘s what I have on hand.

Border done. taking way too long to make this. Just too busy with the baby. But it‘s a really easy pattern so far. Love that!

I hate sewing but I‘m so close to finishing this!

Took way longer than I had planned just because of life and being a mom. But I finished the squares! Really easy to follow and understand up to this point.

Step 2 finished. If I wasn‘t juggling a baby, I would have been able to finish these in a kitty over an hour and a half. But they are done and now it‘s time to add my green!

Messes up the first one and had to redo it. Didn‘t do BLO.

Decided to do it assembly line style and do everything in a single color. Doing a really nice light apricot color for the center.
