Latest noteProgressDateFeb 11, 2024ProjectCow PlushieMood😊I used Loops & Thread faux fur super bulky yarn on a 6.5 mm hook.
This was a tricky project, mostly because of the type of yarn. Literally had to use stitch markers on almost every stitch because the stitches are invisible. Once I got used to how each stitch felt I could go one round with only 2 or 3 stitch markers.
I had some trouble understanding how to sew the legs together since I've never done that before. This is barely my 2nd amigurumi project, so I had to look up some references on YouTube. It turns out, you literally just SC through every stitch, and when you get to the other leg, SC onto that leg, which ends up making one big circle that brings them together.
Also, when closing up the arms it says to fold, which I didn't because I didn't understand how you can fold it. Of course, after reading 4x over I realized it means to close and SC the matching stitches together to make a row of 4 sts. So if you have 8 sts in the round you'll SC through the 8th and 1st st, 7th and 2nd, 6th and 3rd, and 5th and 4th st. That would leave you with a row of 4 sts. Hopefully that's what it meant to do because that's what I did
It's not perfect, but cute nonetheless.
