It was a double crochet through the stitch into the third row back loops. WOW! That's a mouth full! Any I was using a bulky yarn and I played yarn chicken with my white and lost. So my cowboy ghost became a cowgirl ghost. The pattern has a lot of rows for the body part of the pattern. It calls for 12 rows of 42 stitches and my ghost came out a little taller than it should have. That is the only issue I found with it.
