First, instead of doing a popcorn stitch for the rope part, I chained 142 times and slip-stitched into said chain. And then, for the star, I triple/treble crocheted where it said, "dhp." Overall, this is an awesome pattern for anyone, especially beginners! I love it sm!!! Gonna give it as a gift.
