Latest noteProgress 90% Date Nov 22, 2024 Project GINORMOUS STINGRAY Mood 😓 Feeling a little sad.... spent the week crocheting this for my nephew (who's 1st birthday is tomorrow). Read the full instructions - really enjoyed making it but on the final instruction after the 'WHERE TO STUFF:' section, dc's are mentioned - which is what I've used throughout.... but then it says "CONTINUE SC AROUND"!!!!!!!! I've now made a huge Stingray - made in US double crochet as I couldn't find a note saying if it's in UK/US abbreviations anywhere - although I found COLOR spelt the US way - rather than COLOUR as we do in the UK and I just presumed. So now my GIANT giant Stingray looks a bit strange and nothing like I thought he would as he should have been UK dc (US sc) all throughout the pattern instead and I'm worried the stuffing is going to poke through... WAHHHH - I just hope he loves it and it can be a big squishy pillow xx
