I love how realistic he is, it's so nice to have a bat that reflects what they really look like! And just in time for spooky season! The pattern is really well made, everything fits togther so perfectly! I truly am amazed and in awe of the wings! This is definitely one of my projects that have taken the longest, with the sewing and all the intricate details, but absolutely worth the time and work! Definitely more advanced, but I believe that with the helpful videos and photos provided throughout the pattern any intermediate crocheter and MAYBE a well practiced beginner could follow along and make your own flying fox! It truly is one of my prides and joy, and I'm so happy I was able to make him! Used acrylic worsted weight (4) yarn, a 3.50mm (E/4) hook, and 8mm eyes.
