I wish I had some polybeads because I think this is a great candidate for a weighted plushie! The pattern itself was very easy to follow and was super straightforward. This baby probably took me about 4 hours to complete, but I work slower with bigger yarns. Used bernat baby blanket (weight 6, color sunday times) and a 6.0mm hook for the bear. I freehanded the scarf as I didn't have a color in the right weight that would go nicely with the frosting yarn of the bear to use the scarf pattern provided, but I used acrylic (weight 4) yarn with a 3.0mm hook.
