🦕🌊💧 I LOVE her! In this weight she‘s about 5 inches (12cm) tall, and so cute!!! I made a few personal changes to help fit my yarn choice better, but over all an easy pattern to follow. I will say the incs can get a little hard to work into (but I was using a fairly small hook); however if you‘re careful this shouldn‘t be a problem. I love the belly piece, it does a lot with making the face really stand out to me. Lots of sewing, but not too bad, just take your time! Used acrylic worsted weight (4) yarn, a 3.50mm hook, and 8mm safety eyes.

Kinda aggressively cute Excuse my lazy sewing up the neck.... In my defense I was half asleep when I did that. I‘ll likely go back and fix it!

All appendages done! Ended up working the right one backwards, I have a weird thing about symmetry. And I kinda really want to add a tail.... and I just might....

As you can see, after step 4, everything fits quite nicely. So my thought is, frog this, change steps 1-3 and work them as rows, and then follow along with the pattern like normal. And I think that should work!

Since I messed up my hook size choice.... it doesn‘t fit quite right.... but I have a plan! Btw, this is without the very last step

So I have a concern with the yarn, they are two different brands and the lighter color is thicker than the main color. I don‘t know how well the photo will show this. I should have taken this into account when choosing my hook(s).

Body done! The decs and dense stuffing did a LOT of heavy lifting, so trust the process! And because of my yarn weight I had to add two extra rounds at the end to be able to close the piece.

The increases are doing some crazy things! Will have to see how the next several rounds straight it out! The incs are ever so slightly off center for me, like by 1st, but nothing I‘m too worried about.
