Scarletskies make for Tiny Candy Cane - 2 options for hook | Ribblr
journal photo
Latest noteProgress Date Nov 14, 2023 Project 🍬 Mood 🎉 Easy and quick to make (maybe 20 mins tops). Versatile in size and color palette. Lots of potential for small gifts, stocking stuffers, ornaments, other decor. I personally did color changes every round starting after round 2. But variegated yarn would work really well and probably save some time! I think that if you double (or even triple) stranded the whole pattern it would look really cool, I might try that soon. Used acrylic worsted weight (4) yarn and a 3.75mm (F/5) hook. For the stripes, I started to use color in round (R) 3 and changed color every round. Every odd number round was a color and every even was white. To have a white "curve" (like the green and red) add one extra round after R10 of color and then continue like normal (switching to odd white and even color).
