Here are the panels before stitching them together. I also crocheted a one inch trim along the bottom edge and and added beads to make the hem more interesting.

This is the grid for the top panel (the bottom panel is the same dimensions with just the mesh stitch). Feel free to use the grid for your own makes!

Close up of my mini me: Sasha! Using the same yarn I used for my top, I crocheted a simple one-shoulder baby doll top. Her hair ribbon is the same one I used to lace up my top.

Back view! It laces up like a corset, and with long enough straps, can be worn as a halter, spaghetti strap, or strapless
