I used Lion Brand 24/7 cotton color Jade with a 3.5 mm hook.
Patten was easy to follow, however it did take me a minute or two to figure out where to place the DC in the chain for the Ying Yang parts. I did 2 under the chain and placed a 3rd into the chain joint. I found the picture of the Ying Yang super helpful.
