Latest noteProgressDateMar 20, 2023ProjectMood😓The fact I tested it in the lighter weight when it was written for a chunkier wool may be a factor as to why mine went so wrong. It's wonky, it's not flat, and the ears do not look good.
That being said, please see final notes below:
I think the decreases and increases locations seemed fairly randomised at times, which could play a part in why it turned out wonky / lopsided.
I dislike that that there are no actual rounds to this pattern, and instead you are just working around and trying to keep count. I think it's important for accuracy in patterns to reflect how many stitches there should be in a round. It's too easy to lose count, especially when you're working with a larger number such as 64 and there's no start or end to the rounds to help you.
I think the fact the ears are sew on when marshmallow peeps are uniform in nature is a mistake, as the seam of attaching the ears will always show.
I'm so truly sorry, but I don't recommend this pattern as it is. It was frustrating at times and I feel like it needs a rewrite with proper rounds to be functional - especially if the intention is for this to be a "paid for" pattern.
