I used Loops and thread impeccable yarn deep turquoise. ( I don't recommend the yarn. It kept separating ). And a size D 3.125 mm hook. This was incredibly fun and turned out so cute.
I named mine Charmin. (Hee hee that's what I stuffed him with three sheets of Charmin).
