i did have a couple troubles though, just as a warning for other users of this pattern:
- it doesn‘t specify what stitch to put the safety eyes into, only the row, so when i originally put them on, they ended up being on the back of the head.
- there are no yarn, hook, or safety eye sizes specified. i tried to guess at what was used for the original and was pretty close but not entirely accurate.
