Progress so far! I probably could have gone even one size smaller on my hook. This yarn is mostly 3 and 4 weight imo, but it‘s still working up nicely in this pattern. I think the texture may help to mask some of the variation in thickness.

Really appreciate how thorough this pattern is thus far! Designer taking the time to explain the setup in detail is so helpful! Going with Loops and Threads Facets yarn in color Autumn and using a 5mm hook (suggested is 6mm but this yarn is like a roving yarn, varying thickness, but mostly 4 weight, and I crochet loose, so going down a bit). Side note: really lovely hand feel.
