Mood 😊 Overall, had a fun time with this boot's construction, using different methods for the cuff ribbing and creating the cable, as well as doing the split color work brought some excitement to the creating process. I liked the simple seam all the way up the slipper, and the entire concept. Its design definitely invokes Fred's signature ascot! The breakdown of the stitch pattern and photos for each step were much appreciated. With the understanding that this boot is intended to be on the roomier side, I think mine still was a bit large (based on sample photo). Now, unless others have run into that problem, it's probably got more to do with my tension tending to get looser the longer I work on something than any fault of the pattern. They still fit and are cozy. If I were making them again, I would probably go down a hook size to accommodate my quirks. Everything is sufficiently explained in pattern, or otherwise easily searched if someone needs further clarification, and I think the designer does a great job of including photos and cues to help walk one through the process of working this pattern. For ref: I used 5mm hook with Caron One Pound (Light Terracotta), Big Twist (Cornflower Blue), and Red Heart (Aran).
