I recommend using the invisible join for ending the last round. It looks very nice. Maybe include an instruction video on this. Also, when tying the elastic after tightening, I tied four times and tucked in my ends.

Forget what I said before, it was not an extra stitch, it should be there. Frills round 3 should say: Ch 2, place 3hdc in same st, skip a st and ss into the next st. *Skip a st and place 4hdc in the next st, sk a st and ss into the next st.* Rep until you have one st remaining. Sk st and attach to top of beginning ch 2 with a ss. Cut yarn and leave a small tail.

Materials should list that elastic is needed and explain what kind. Maybe leave a link to an example. I think Frills round 3 should say to ch 2, place 3hdc in same st instead of 4hdc in next st. However, at the end of the round I had an extra st and could not fit another repeat. I sl st in this last st and in top of beginning ch 2. At the end of the round it should say to cut and leave a small tail.

Frills round 1 should say how to attach yarn (attach with ss). Round 2 should (I believe) say to ch 1 and sc into same st and then to sc around. I included elastic as I went.

All of my patches are attached together and I‘ve tested putting them around my steering wheel. Although I measured measured measured, it‘s surprisingly loose and, even without elastic, already can be stretched a great deal. Hopefully adding the frills and elastic will tighten and secure it. Note that my steering wheel is 14.5 inches in diameter. I measured my loop of patches at about 45.5 inches.

I‘ve finished all of my squares and tucked in all ends (except ones left for sewing). Now time to sew together. The recent edits to the pattern are perfect and very helpful. This is such a fun pattern! After measuring my steering wheel and my squares, I have determined that I need 14 squares instead of 12. Hopefully my calculations are correct, we will see! Keep in mind I am using the recommended hook size but I am using worsted weight yarn instead of dk.

Very happy with the progress. I have completed my very first flower patch.

Due to mistakes in the pattern, I have started over my first flower patch. I‘ve been discussing issues with the pattern creator and edits were made. So far with the new instructions I have recompleted round 3 with success. I would like to note that I chose not to flip my patch although given the option.

(Edit: Disregard this whole note as this was corrected in the pattern.) Working on Round 3 of the flower for the first time. I believe instead this round should say: Ch 2 (this will act as a hdc) 3 hdc, ch 3, *4 hdc, ch 3*. Rep for rest of round and ss into top of beginning ch 2. I have contacted the pattern creator about this. As far as my progress goes, my flower is slightly ruffled and doesn‘t lay completely flat.

I forgot to mention that the pictures taken for this pattern are very well done. Professional looking and gorgeous.

At the end of round 2, it should state that you need to tie off and weave in ends after ss. (Edit: disregard, as this was added in.) In round 3, rather than saying to attach to one of the large gaps, they can be called ch spaces.

I just want to note that MC is not listed in abbreviations. Round 1 should also mention that these are joined rounds. (Edit: disregard, as I see this was added in.)

I am a tester for this pattern. Just beginning to look the pattern over. Although obvious from the pictures, I think maybe that the colors needed should be listed. Also, in addition to saying ”1st color” maybe put yellow in parentheses, etc. just in case one doesn‘t know where they‘re starting from (beginners). I plan to use the suggested hook size however I am going to use worsted weight acrylic instead of the suggested yarn because that is all I have. I made this decision after discussing it with the creator of the pattern who mentioned that it should probably be alright to do so.
