Yessss it's done I added some safety pins for an edgy look, not sure if they are visible in the picture though. I'm still unsure if I should weave in the ends or not...

Oh gosh my mirror is DIRTY butttt here it is on :) I kind of like the loose ends hanging like that and I might just keep them that way.

I made the ties already. I got lazy so I only chained 100 for them :P Hopefully I'll get the skirt finished tomorrow!

34 and a half rows done and I ran out of red! It's about 31cm long at this point.

23 rows done :) I don't have a measuring tape on hand right now but I'd say it's about 20cm wide (long?) I ran out of black just at the end of the 23rd row so I'll have to get some more when I have the time.

Ffft the picture is awful but that's what the skirt looks like up close. I forgot to mention that I'm a size S but making a size M skirt because of the smaller hook & lighter yarn :)

After the increase row. I'm using the 6mm hook for the black stripes and a larger hook (idk what size it is) for the red rows. The black and red yarn is the same, just in different colours, so using a different size hook creates a nice texture. I'm doing 3 black + 2 red rows so that the stripes are equal in width.

Yay I finally got around to start the skirt! I'm using a 6mm hook :)
