stitchsprite make for Cozy Sweater for Hot Water Bottle | Ribblr

Latest noteProgress Date Dec 10, 2022 Project Caramel Macchiato Mood 😊 Final notes: Loved working this stitch pattern and thought the included video and charts were helpful. The design is functional, and I was able to use it as intended with some minor changes to the measurements to accommodate my bottle. My suggestions are to include final stitch counts for the rounds, if possible, particularly on the bottom and pocket sections. I think it would also be nice to include to some progress photos of the various sections to be able to reference our own work against. I would review the decrease section and make sure those stitch counts are correct. It's possible my math is off, but at present it doesn't add up quite right for me and is something that could possibly impact the project's final look with a less tapered off effect. Again, this could be related to my final st count after the pocket round or my own ineptitude, but when I worked the ribbing the first time, I had an excess of fabric compared to the sample photo. The sample photo sweater's neck still looks more cinched than my sweater, but I managed to get mine a little closer by sl st 2 stitches on the garment before working back up the chain and using a slightly smaller hook. More specific suggestions can be found in my previous journals. Overall, this pattern is fairly easy to follow for a more intermediate crocheter and is a fun project to work up with its unique stitch design. For ref I used a 5.5mm hook with Paintbox Simply Chunky in Soft Fudge and Light Caramel, as well as Yarn Bee Soft and Sleek Chunky in Ivory. Thanks for letting me test! Any questions, don't hesitate to message me.
