The measurements section: I would remove EVERYTHING except the last 2 sentences. ”You will end up with a 1 5/8” item. Feel free to use any yarn.....”. This area should only talk about the measurements of the item.

Beginning explanation of stitches: Sc3tog-it‘s written, ”3 single crochet together in 1 stitch.” The verbage sounds like you‘re making an increase. I‘d suggest something like, ”single crochet using the next 3 stitches.”
