The headband is first worked vertically to reach the desired width. Then, it is worked horizontally to finish and join the two sides together. No sewing is required if you join using slip stitches. This project is made-to-measure and doesn't require a lot of yarn.

The main stitch is the granny stitch, which is really easy to do. All the other stitches used in this pattern are basic ones.
