This lightweight shawl uses basic stitches to create a winged shawl that drapes nicely around the shoulders. The front/back post trebles give this shawl great texture and works up quickly using fingering yarn. The ruffle edging of the shawl features the picot stitch and gives the shawl a fun, feminine look.

To increase the length of the shawl, the pattern includes 3x tr increases per row. To create a tr increase follow the steps below (Panel 1). It is recommended you PM to keep track of where to tr increase. These increases will create corners giving the wing shape of the shawl. It is important to note that you can increase the size of your shawl by repeating rows 2 and 3. Try your shawl and adjust row counts as suits you!
