Description
Hello!
Out of a desire to make squishy plushies in the late summer of 2020, this axolotl was created! With a cute face and a long fluffy body, the axolotl is perfect for cuddling. This huggable axolotl was one of my first crochet plushies, and I’m so excited to show you how to make a little friend for yourself!
The techniques are simple; all you’ll need to know are basic crochet stitches (how to make a magic ring, single crochet, chain, increase, slip stitch, decrease) and some basic hand sewing skills. You’ll have a lovely new friend in just over 2 hours!
Before we get started, here’s some more things you’ll need to know: depending on how much you stuff your axolotl, it may be more or less tubular than pictured. Finding the perfect balance of stuffing is up to you. This pattern is written in US terms and in inches.

Level of difficulty: Confident beginner to intermediate

Care Instructions:
● Spot clean with a cold water and detergent mixture
OR
● Wash cold with like colors
● Gentle cycle
● Lay flat to dry in a space with good ventilation
● Reshape as needed
