Description
I loved this picture when it first started circulating and really wanted to make it a blanket for my mother. After a month or so of crocheting, I finally completed it and was able to gift it to her on her birthday.
FAQ's:
What method did you use to make this?
A: Mostly a mix between intarsia and the cut and tie method. You don't want to carry the yarn too much and make it heavy. If you do the blanket right it should be reversible.
Does the blanket get thick when you weave in ends?
A: No, I had no issue with the thickness. Since I carried yarn in some places it makes the blanket all a really nice thickness.
How much yarn is used?
A: I calculated my approx. use and put it through testing and averaged it out. With the number of ends you leave, it will vary but I did not use more than two skeins for any color other than the white background.
