Was pretty simple to follow! I changed a few things to make it easier on myself, though. First, instead of doing a popcorn stitch for the rope part, I chained 142 times and slip-stitched into said chain. And then, for the star, I triple/treble crocheted where it said, ”dhp.” Overall, this is an awesome pattern for anyone, especially beginners! I love it sm!!! Gonna give it as a gift.

I used acrylic worsted weight yarn and a 3.75 mm hook so the bag is a nice, usable bag size! On the star doing the points, after the DC I wasn't sure of the term used, but looking at the pictures it looked like a treble crochet. I used the treble crochet there and it turned out perfectly!

Just finished the animal crossing star bag! I had to change the colours because I did not have red and brown at hand, but it looks cute anyway! I stuffed it with some yarn balls to give it shape for the photo, I might use it to store my portable speaker tho. It was easy to follow and I am very happy with the results

I used Red Heart Super Saver with 5.00mm/US H hook: 96 yds Saffron 4 yds Coffee 7.5 yds unkown SS Red I skipped the final increase row on the base due to my thicker yarn and one less row on the body. I also started the star with 8 sc in the magic ring then 15 hdc across them rather than 15 dc directly in the ring in order to reduce the empty space in the center with my thicker yarn. Thank you!
