this pattern was inspired by other animal/fruit combo plushies i have seen. this is the first of many of the patterns i plan on creating of an octopus designed to be a specific fruit! during the making of this pattern i used bernat softee chunky yarn (weight 5) in the color faded denim with a 5.25 mm hook - this is just what i had available and the closest to a blueberry color i had. reminder that this pattern can be done with smaller yarn and smaller hooks, or vice versa to have a different sized plushie. the one pictured takes up my entire palm and is about 6 inches high.
