This pattern includes a color work grid for the same pattern but with two different color workings. The first included pattern is done with 7 different colors while the second pattern is done with 12. You do get both patterns and all 4 grids with this purchase. The photo is of the option with 7 colors that I made into a bag. As I produce more tapestry patterns I will come out with guides for how to make these different works into bags sweaters etc. This could very easy be sewn to a wooden dowel to be hung or attached to the inside of a frame. This purchase is only for the grids as well as the explanation for how to make color changes. These patterns are done in US double crochets. I understand that single crochet is what is what is conventionally used for tapestry/ mosaic crochet but I do explain how to successfully achieve this.

Use whatever yarn and hook you are comfortable using. I use a 4 - 5 mm hook and a worsted-weight yarn.

Colors on the grid are more accurate than the example photo as that was the yarn I had on hand when I made it.
