The pattern pictures are a size fitting an adult, but you can easily make it smaller. There is also an easy way to calculate the length of the strap if you want it longer or shorter.

This bag is sturdier than one would think!

Materials

Yarns

This is the main color of the bag and ears. This can also be used for the snout.
Thickness of yarn in project pictures: 200 m/300 g

Without snout/muzzle, the bag and ear piece required 350 g (~233 m)

The snout/muzzle requires about 25-35 g. With my yarn, it required 30 g (~20 m)

Recommended: Sewing thread for the ears. It‘s okay to use yarn for this part, but I recommend sewing it with thread for a neater look. If you have fluffy/ chenille yarn, you can use any color since when it‘s pulled tight, it will disappear. I will recommend using a similar thread color to ear part 1 just in case, though.

This is the secondary color for the inner ear and can be used for the snout/muzzle too.

The snout/muzzle requires about 25-35 g. With my yarn, it required 30 g (~20 m)

If you use a different yarn brand/weight than the main color, it can be good to add an extra row when you come to the ear part, otherwise the discrepancy between the lengths can cause problems with attaching the strap to the bag. This will, in turn, require a bit of extra yarn, depending on the discrepancy.
