This cute and easy checkerboard crochet bucket hat is designed for babies aged 6 to 12 months.
All you need to know is how to double crochet, make a magic ring, change colors, and increase. If not, I've linked helpful videos.
Materials:
< 100g ( 2 colors, each 50g) of cotton yarn, I've used "Rico Design Creative Cotton aran 50g 85m, 4-5mm"
4 mm hook (it should have a tight tension)
scissors, darning needle
Stitches:
dc - double crochet
inc - increase
FPdc - front post double crochet
magic ring (video)
inv sl st - seamless invisible slip stitch (video)
dc inv - dc invisible join in the round (video)
