I was about 12 yrs old (1978) when my grandmother taught me this pattern. Back then we used to make these but used wooden hangers. I have searched high and low for the kinds we used but can not find them at all. So I have only a few of my original hangers left (YES they last that long). I modified the pattern to use plastic hangers.
