My 9-year-old nephew got a smartphone for his birthday. Since he loves dogs I decided to make him this phone hanger/charging unit using fabric with a bold print of dogs photographs.
The pattern features two pockets, one on each side of the hanger, where my nephew can keep his phone, earbuds, and some other little boys' small treasures...
The hanger is designed to be hung over the phone charger.

The pattern comes up pretty quickly and it's fairly easy even for a beginner.
The main skill required for this pattern is cutting and sewing very accurately, so the pocket will merge perfectly with the print on the fabric. If you'd like to experience with fussy cutting fabric this pattern can be a great project.
