Newborn baby sleeping sack swaddle wrap knitting PATTERN
Keep baby cuddly and warm in this little swaddle sack.
Little legs cant kick off the blankets
A draw-string bottom edge allows easy diaper changes.
A lovely baby shower gift, or for bringing home your own baby.
An Easy- Intermediate knit ( You knit flat, not in the round. You need to be able to knit, purl and do simple k2 p2 ribbing)
Knitted in a fluffy bulky yarn like Drops Melody. (Or any Bulky yarn )
Needle size 7mm or US 10 1/2 or US11
I usually knit using a circular needle, as I find it faster, but I knit back and forth, not in the round, so you can use either circular needles or straight needles and do the same.
The Swaddle sack is meant to be a loose-knit so that it is stretchy and comfortable for little legs to kick about in.
The draw-string bottom allows for easy diaper changes.
