Gaia the turtle is made of chenille yarn with a 5.0mm hook. This Sea turtle pattern is made in multiple parts and does involve sewing. Soft and fluffy this large stuffy will swim into your heart with a sweet lotus flower on her back. Great sensory toy, with lots of stitches and depth.

Head x1
Shell Outer x1
Shell Under x1
Fins x2
Feet x2
Tail x1
Petals x6

The flower does not need to be added to the pattern to make it, however if you are going to leave off the flower make sure to start your centre MC with the same shell colour you are planning to use throughout.

I use at least 4 colours to make the body of Gaia, I will be starting the outer shell in the colour that I am using to accent the flower. I am using Lime Green for the accents, White for the flower, Spearmint (Bernat Blanket Mystical) for the outer shell and Malachite for the head, feet and tail.

L - Lime Green

For the eyes I also have used 4 colours in cotton and acrylic:
