This crochet pattern is for a McDonald's restaurants' Grimace character. This weird purple guy is a fun throwback to McDonald's original gang of restaurant mascots.

This easy crochet pattern is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don't mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

Materials
150 grams size 4 (worsted weight) yarn in Purple
Scrap amounts size 4 yarn in Black, White, Red
Crochet hook size H 5.00 mm
Crochet hook Size G 4.00 mm
Tapestry needle
Fiber fill
Stitch marker
2 x 1/4-inch black buttons ONLY if piece is being made for people over 3 years of age.

Notes
Grimace's Legs, Body and Head are worked in one piece, using 2 strands of yarn held together.
Grimace is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up.
Grimace's Arms and Eyes are worked separately and then sewn o
The finished piece is approximately 10 inches tall.
1 strand Bulky (size 5) yarn may be substituted for 2 strands yarn held together without any alterations to pattern needed.
