This is a large bag that can be worn either as a traditional purse, a backpack, or have the strap removed and carry it that way.

I used size 6 yarn with an 8mm hook, but you can use any size yarn or hook you'd prefer, just know it will change the size of the bag. The strap length is also adjustable. For a longer strap add a few rows, for a shorter strap remove a few. It's a pretty forgiving pattern. It requires very little sewing, but nothing complicated.


This does make a very large bag. With the size six yarn, this bag is large enough that it fits approximately 3-4 full skeins of yarn (personally I used it to carry a pencil case, skein of yarn, a shareable size bag of candy, and a crocheted toy, with PLENTY of room left over)
