Size
The Cardinals will be approx. 4.7 inches tall and 5.9 inches long if using the indicated hook and yarn. If you want it to be larger or smaller you can use a different yarn weight and adjust the hook size accordingly.

Construction
The crest and tail are crocheted on the body. The wings and beak are sewn on and the legs are made of wire. Instructions for crocheted legs are included. The birds won't be able to stand if you make crocheted legs.
