Description
This sock is knit toe up featuring a toe cup, short row heel and sewn bind-off. This pattern is written for magic loop however it can be easily adapted to short circulars or double pointed needles. This pattern is written in US knitting terms. Video tutorials are available for both the toe, heel and bind off for the pattern.
Testers have said that the pattern is very easy and quick to knit up once you figure out how to work the German Short Row technique and would be a great pattern for all knitting levels.
Gauge:
Stockinette Stitch: 28 stitches by 40 rows in 4"
3x1 rib: 32 stitches by 32 stitches in 4"
Any fingering weight sock yarn would work great for this pattern. Testers used a variety of yarns that all worked well for the pattern. To make a completed pair you will need approximately 300-400 yards of yarn for long socks.
