Happy Autumn! I just love this time of year. The weather outside is perfect! Not too hot (summers gone) and not too cold(winter not here yet). All the leaves on the trees are different shades of fiery red, orange, and vibrant yellow. Here in Texas the roadsides are picturesque with Indian paintbrush, crimson clover, and bluebonnets. Picnic perfect for an afternoon at the lake.

I couldn't imagine fall without seeing pastures freshly mowed with round bales of hay, and fields of pumpkins, and the last crop of corn. You can't grow corn without a scarecrow!

I could go on and on but I won't. Introducing Scrappy. The cutest, happiest little scarecrow you will ever meet. He is so happy and cute I doubt he will be able to keep the crows out the corn. I hope you enjoy making him as much as I did.
