Description
This pattern stemmed from wanting something that worked well for highly variegated colorways & to have something light to wear in warmer weather. It is a great beginner level pattern!
If you find your tension is too tight or too loose, feel free to try sizing up or down a hook size. This pattern has a lot of room for finding what works best for your style of crocheting. Gauge is not very important for this project. However I still suggest you do a gauge swatch to see if the fabric you achieve is one that you like! Your main objective here is to have a lacy & drapey fabric. The rest will fall into place.
This pattern uses a chainless foundation HDC cast-on. It is not necessary I just prefer this method the using the chain method. You could use a chain & SC into each chain then connect & follow instructions as written instead. For a video tutorial on chainless foundation cast on please visit YouTube and search for Chainless Foundation HDC Cast On".
Note that you only need one 100g skein or 2 50g skeins to complete the pattern. The list below is simply a range of suggestions.
