Meet Stevie. He is a silly little spider looking for a new friend. He may say, " come in to my parlor", but he simply wants to share his tea and crumpets with you while you play a game of checkers.

I have terrible arachnophobia. You can say the word spider and I am reaching for the nearest thing I can swat it with. ( yes. I shot one with a shotgun once, it had chased me out of bed one night and someone was going to see Jesus and I decided it was the spider. I had to buy a new bed the next day. Shotgun can do some serious damage at point blank range to a mattress and the hardwood floor under the bed.)

My nephew's asked me to make them a spider and my brother bet me $100 I wouldn't do it because of how terrified I am of spiders. I couldn't disappoint those precious little boys with their big blue puppy dog eyes. So here is Stevie. Also, me turn down a chance to prove my brother wrong AND make $100 doing it...of course I was going to make a spider. It only took a month to do it. Good thing Bubba did not give a time limit.

No, it has not cured my arachnophobia. Stevie i can deal with.
