Any dk / 8 ply weight yarn - about 200g needed for a large cowl like the sample or about 100g for a smaller, fitted cowl.
I used: Farmers Daughter Fibers Craggy Tweed DK in ’kinnickinnick’ (85% merino/15% nep, 211m, 100g). 210g, 2 full skeins used.
