The butterfly bandana pattern became very popular, so I decided to design another more detailed bandana, and I loved it so much more!

This is a downloadable crochet pattern with written instructions on how to crochet these beautiful bandanas with butterflies. The instructions are written in standard American crochet terms.

The skill level is intermediate. You need basic materials and you need to know the next stitches:
- magic ring (if this is too hard, ch 5 and sl st into first ch st)
- chain
- slip stitch
- single crochet
- double crochet
- treble crochet

If you use fine weight yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook, the width of the base will be 53 cm and the length will be 25 cm. The strings will be 45 cm each. Of course you can use different yarn and a different crochet hook, but the bandana will be a different size then. You can add rows if you are comfortable with the pattern or stop adding rows by using the instructions from the last row.
