So had to carry my teenage son to the doctor for a follow up today. His doctor handed him a Tootsie Pop sucker on his way out the room... My son opens it and says, "I wonder how long it would take me to lick this down to the middle?".
Well, that one question set the bunnies in my brain all jumping up out of the hole. I remembered the old commercial from the 1970's where the boy asks the wise old owl how many licks to get to the center of a Tootsie roll tootsie pop? Then the owl takes the sucker and says let's see... He licks it and starts counting 1, 2, 3... Then he crunches it and hands the empty stick back to the boy and says 3... It takes three licks... The commercial ends by saying the world may never know.

Anyway, here is the wise old owl ready to try to solve the mystery again. Hope you enjoy making him. And good luck trying to figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie pop.
