My obsession with fiber began at 6 years old, and my first original design was the infamous Barbie tube top. Since Barbie wasn't paying me a living wage to keep her stylishly dressed, I ended up going to college, knitting feverishly throughout my education to maintain my sanity. When I found out that real people actually like what I make, I quit my day job at the phone company and have been designing ever since. I have authored 2 books and design for major yarn companies as well as contributing to books, magazines, and other publications.
